Capt. James Franklin 1755-1828 was an original land grant settler of Sumner County Tennessee. His grave site is in decay near his homestead. We will lose this slice of history if it is not preserved. This blog is dedicated to advocate and promote awareness for the grave site preservation. Use the search option right if you are looking for specifics. This is an amateur blog. Fundraising Update & Site Clean Up Schedule
Here a splashy graphic to update everyone on the status of our fundraising. I've spoken with several family members who have promised a donation. Myself included. Send in your check. I'm sending mine. Or make a pledge and send your check later. That way we know we can reach our fundraising goal. Clean up is official for Saturday November 15, 9am at the Saunders Station site. Bring gloves, chain saws, loppers, weed eaters or any trimming tools.
